By using CartIQ ("the Service") at cartiq.ca, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What CartIQ is

CartIQ is an informational tool that aggregates publicly available grocery flyer data from Canadian retailers to help consumers compare prices. CartIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any grocery retailer.

Price accuracy

Prices displayed on CartIQ are sourced from retailer flyers and are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees that prices are current, complete, or error-free. Prices may vary by store location, change without notice, or differ from what is available in-store.

Always verify prices at the retailer before making purchasing decisions. CartIQ is not responsible for any losses arising from reliance on pricing information displayed on the Service.

Meal planning & AI-generated content

CartIQ's meal planner uses AI to generate meal suggestions based on available deals. AI-generated content may contain errors. Meal costs are estimates only. Always verify ingredient availability and prices at your local store. CartIQ is not responsible for any costs incurred based on meal plan estimates.

Permitted use

You may use CartIQ for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute CartIQ data in bulk
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CartIQ and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed $0 CAD, as CartIQ is provided free of charge.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
